CANINE REHAB

The canine underwater treadmill dramatically speeds recovery from orthopedic and neurologic surgery. The therapeutic effects of water are combined with exercise to provide a safe and comfortable workout. The resistance of the water and the reduction of weight bearing allows for a more pain free exercise on arthritic or traumatized joints. Adjustable water depth allows controlled weight bearing exercise.

Low impact exercise in the underwater treadmill is also ideal for: weight reduction, osteoarthitis, Hip dysplasia, improving strength and muscular endurance and cardiorespiratory endurance.

The ground treadmill is an excellent exercise for show dogs, obedience and agility dogs, as well as being use for weight reduction and improving muscle strength

JOYCE MATOTT

Joyce has been professionally involved with dogs for nearly 30 years. She has co-owned Sendaishi Pet Resort, LLC with her husband, Bill, for 27 years. They are breeders of Champion Alaskan Malamutes and Bill also runs the Malamutes on sled teams. Being involved with working dogs led Joyce to pursue her long-time interest in rehabilitating dogs, be it post-operative, chronic conditions, or conditioning of the working dog/house pet. She has completed all of the required courses for the certificate program in Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee.

RENEE BLOUIN

Renee has been with Sendaishi Pet Resort, LLC since 2000. She is a Certified Pet Care Technician and has also completed all of the required courses for the certificate program in Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee.
